Every year, security solutions company nordpass releases its annual list of ‘Top 200 most common passwords’. It names the passwords that hackers and cybercriminals have been able to crack in minutes, in fact many in seconds. The list details how many times a certain password was used and how long it would take to crack it. The recent list has lots of names as passwords, and many of them are Indian names. These are the names that users use as password to access their accounts, be it email, dating or others. So, if you have any of these names as your password, change it right now.
‘KRISHNA’
This was one of the weakest passwords on this list, where hackers and other bad actors online could crack through it in less than a second.
‘Lovely’
Next on the list was the not-so-lovely password ‘Lovely’ which also got cracked in less than a second.
‘Sweety’
Third on this list is Sweety which sadly is too sweet to protect itself from cyber attacks, getting cracked in less than seven seconds.
